Very sorry I missed the event, but now feel as if I had been riding in someone's bookbag, thanks to your evocative description. I LOVED the story about MissMarkey - so true!

I've written a short post on BookCrossing Gossip, hoping to direct a few more BookCrossers here.

Cheers,
Peter

In order to assist discussion I thought I should copy part of an email I sent to the other Regional Managers some time ago. It seemed to help people understand the options better.

>>To avoid confusion (I hope!) I have set out the two ways I envisage the UK being re-ordered here:-
http://web.mac.com/ardachy/iWeb/Site%203/UK%20states%201.html
You can toggle between the two by clicking on the UK STATES 1 or UK STATES 2. Please ignore the fact that some counties have come out in a darker colour, I'm not sure why that happened and can't be bothered to fix it for this purpose. UK STATES 1 is my interpretation of what Mike was saying in his first message. In this example England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are sub-headings and are non clickable, only clicking on a county leads to the towns. In UK STATES 2 Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland would be clickable and lead directly to their respective towns. For England you would have to click on a county. Hope that is clear, if not please say.<<
