Read on for just a few ideas on how to spend your time in Nottingham when you’re not at the Unconvention.
These are ideas that have been submitted by other attendees at the event for attractions and events, outside of the Uncon itself, which may have particular interest for BookCrossers. For more general ideas and tourist information, visit the My Nottingham, or Visit Nottingham websites.
If you have an idea for something to add to this page, please contact us and we will add as many as possible in the run up to the event.
Nottingham Contemporary Gallery
During the weekend of the Unconvention (and for some weeks either side), this gallery will be hosting an exhibition inspired by French author Jean Genet. This is a free to visit gallery, more details can be found on the gallery website.
The People’s Bible Project
This project, which marks the 400th anniversary of the King James bible, will be visiting Nottingham on 24th September. The project involves people from across the country creating a digital handwritten version of the bible. More information can be found on the project website.
